One morning we woke up and it was all white outside ,

though it was summer. The fog was so thick you couldn't see

the sea or mountains. You could see the fog running through your

fingers. It looked like it was snowing. Unfortunately it was all gone after about 20 minutes.

Botn:

150g Tine smør

125g sukker

150g hvetemel

1 ts bakepulver

5 eggeplommer

5 ss melk

Marengs:

5 eggehviter

180g sukker

50g mandler, hakkete

Fyll:

1 pakke vaniljekrem (tine, piano)

2dl kremfløte

2ts vaniljesukker

Rør smør og sukker til der er lyst og luftig. Tilset hvetemel, bakepulver, eggeplommer og melk. Legg et bakepapir i ei langpanne og fordel deiga utover.

Visp eggehviter og sukker stivt. Legg dette oppå deiga og dryss på mandlar

Steik kaka i 175 i ca 30-40 min.

Del kaka i to like deler. Legg den eine delen på fatet med marengsen ned.

Bland vispet kremfløte og vaniljesukker i vaniljekremen og legg på kaka. Legg den andre kakedelen oppå med marengsen opp.

(Jeg syntes kaka var bedre den dagen etterpå)
